Job Description
Support Worker/Health Care AssistantÂ
The PSW may need to provide assistance to clients within their homes, which could encompass:
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, showering, dressing, toileting, skin care, oral care, hair care, positioning, mobility aid, transferring, feeding, and more.
- Planning and preparing meals.
- Performing housekeeping tasks as necessary.
- Offering companionship and respite care.
- Escorting clients to appointments, providing educational and recreational support, and assisting with shopping.
Additionally, there might be extra clinical care services and delegated responsibilities depending on the unique needs and prerequisites of the client or partnered facilities.
